We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher to work in one of our generic classes at Pendle View Primary School.  This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate teacher to work with a wide range of children with special educational needs and disabilities.   We are looking for a well-organised practitioner who is able to communicate well with staff and pupils, is able to differentiate lessons for a wide range of needs and who is enthusiastic and dedicated to working within our specialist environment.

Essential Experience

Experience as a teacher of pupils with SEND in an educational setting

Experience of planning curriculum, lessons and IEP's for pupils with SEND

Experience of working with pupils with SLD, PMLD, ASD, SLCN and Medical Needs

Experience of working with parents of pupils with SEND

Desirable Experience

Experience of working with pupils with SEND in mainstream and special school settings
