The Governors of Ribchester St Wilfrid's C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a creative and inspiring Year 1 / 2 teacher. This is a temporary post to cover a maternity leave which will end in June 2022 or upon the return of the substantive post holder.
The successful candidate must have recent and relevant experience of working with this age of children and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how children's learning needs are best met.
Candidates should be a dedicated and highly effective classroom teacher committed to raising standards, work as part of a team, be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school and show a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
Candidates who do not have a faith reference, but can demonstrate that they are willing to commit to the Christian ethos of the school will be considered.
The school governors take the issue of safeguarding the pupils of the school very seriously and to this end the successful candidate will be required to obtain an enhanced clearance from the DBS.
The successful candidate will also be required to provide documentary proof of identity and qualifications.
