Information
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join us as part of our KS1 team in January 2026. The successful candidate will initially work in year 1 on a part-time basis (0.5) as part of a job share. The current working pattern for this role will be Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. In addition to being a creative and excellent classroom practitioner, the ideal candidate will be a determined and ambitious individual and have the potential to be a subject leader with the vision and skills to work effectively in raising standards within a given curriculum area.

  • Essential Experience
  • To plan and prepare work for pupil’s, appropriate to their needs and abilities
  • To implement effective assessment for learning strategies, providing formative feedback to help pupils in their learning
  • To manage pupils’ behaviour effectively and in line with the whole school behaviour management system
  • Direct, organise and manage support staff within the classroom

  • Desirable Experience
  • To undertake the role of subject leader if required
  • A commitment to School Improvement Priority plans
  • The post holder may be required to undertake tasks, roles and responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned to them by the Senior Leadership Team.
