Lostock Hall Community Primary School is a large two form entry primary school. Recently rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted. We are closely linked with Embrace Teaching School Hub and part of Axia Learning Alliance.
The Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Year 2 class teacher from January 2026. This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave of the current post holder until 31st December 2026.
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who can recognise and respond to a range of needs, who could work well within our friendly and dedicated team in our popular and successful school.

This role is not suitable for an Early Career Teacher.
