The Opportunity:
Following the promotion of our previous Deputy Headteacher to another school, we are seeking a dynamic, dedicated and talented Deputy Headteacher to join our leadership team. This pivotal role will work closely with the Headteacher to shape and drive our school’s vision, academic standards, and community ethos.
As Deputy Headteacher, you will:- Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and daily operational management of the school.
- Play a key role in classroom teaching, with a substantial teaching commitment that reflects our belief in strong, visible leadership through exemplary practice.
- Take a leading role in developing and delivering our School Development Plan, driving improvement in teaching, learning, and outcomes.
- Lead on key areas in line with up to date research informed practices based on your strengths and our school’s priorities.
- Demonstrate consistently excellent teaching practice and lead initiatives that raise standards across the school.
- Inspire, guide and mentor staff through staff development, performance management, and collaborative leadership.
- Champion our ethos: promoting a positive, aspirational, inclusive and enriching learning environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:- Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has leadership experience in a primary setting.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills: collaborative, encouraging and motivational.
