The Governors of Woodnook Primary School are seeking to appointment a highly motivated and enthusiastic class teacher to join our school. Woodnook is a wonderful place to work with friendly, hardworking children and a supportive staff team. We are a popular and inclusive school, located close to the centre of Accrington, serving a diverse community.

The post will be initially in Year 4.  ECTs are welcome to apply.

  • Essential Qualifications

    Degree or equivalent

    Qualified teacher status

    Recent professional development appropriate to the role

    Desirable Qualifications

    Additional qualifications and /or studies relevant to the age range

    Essential Experience

    Experience of effective teaching within the primary phase

    Relevant experience of teaching the National Curriculum

    Experience and understanding of safeguarding in schools

    Desirable Experience

    Subject Leadership experience - this is not essential
