Sherwood Primary School is an aspirational two form entry Primary School with 428 pupils on roll. This is an exciting opportunity to join our School as a Class Teacher and work as part of a hard working, high committed team within a supportive school community.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated, inspirational teacher and we are welcoming applications from ECTs and more experienced teachers. Please outline your Key Stage expertise in your application. The role is initially for a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 class. The Year group for the new post holder will be determined once a successful appointment has been made. A subject specialism is not essential; we are looking to recruit the best teacher possible for this post. Subject Leadership opportunities will be available to candidates ready for this challenge. Our school has a welcoming atmosphere with very high standards and high expectations for all.
The successful candidate must be:

Long-listed applicants will be invited to meet with members of our Strategic Leadership Team on Tuesday 6th May between the times of 4-5.30pm. Shortlisted candidates will be informed and invited to teach as part of the final stage of recruitment. Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday 21st May 2025.
