The Local Governing Board of The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School (part of Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust) wish to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to join the team from April 2025. We are a large two form entry school in the Ribbleton area of Preston and the successful candidate will need to work alongside the teachers in Year 5. We are looking to appoint a teacher to join our Year 5 team to support the variety of needs across the year group.
We are looking for a candidate who will:
- Uphold and support the Catholic ethos of the school
- Be committed to safeguarding
- Have a proven record of identifying and narrowing gaps in learning for disadvantaged and SEN children
- Have strong inter-personal skills to effectively communicate with staff and pupils
- Inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve their full potential
- Have strong skills in the teaching of Reading and Phonics
