The Governing Body of Lowerhouse Junior School in Burnley wish to recruit an inspirational and passionate Headteacher with the skills to build on our achievements and progress to date.

    The Board would welcome a Headteacher who is resilient, given the ever-demanding nature of the Primary Headteacher role, and also someone who can create a supportive culture, whilst still providing the rigour within our teaching and school to make improvements.

    Our school is accessible, located just off junction 9 of the M65. Burnley is a town with a vibrant history and is surrounded by stunning countryside. There is a real sense of community in the area, making Burnley a highly rewarding place to work.
