Reedley Hallows Nursery School Governing Body is looking to appoint a teacher to join our fantastic team in September 2024. This position is within one of our nursery classes (3 and 4 year olds) this year, teaching a morning or afternoon class, with additional teaching responsibilities across school for the remainder of each day. Year group and responsibilities could be subject to change in future to meet the needs of the school. Part-time working will be considered, this would need to be discussed during the interview. ECT’s, RQT’s and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

We are looking to appoint a committed and motivated teacher to join our friendly and hard-working staff team. Successful applicants will have:
  • Relevant training and experience of successful teaching and learning within EYFS

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the  EYFS Statutory Framework, good early years principles, practice and curriculum provision to meet the wide needs of children
  • Ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences which excite and motivate children to reach their full potential and meets the needs of all children

  • Desirable Experience
  • Working knowledge of some appropriate strategies to support children's communication such as Makaton or Signalong, PECS, Wellcomm and objects of reference
  • Experience of leading a curriculum area
