The Governors of Green Haworth C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher, initially for a Year 3/4 class. The successful candidate will be joining a good school with an experienced and dedicated staff team. They will be expected to have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils. Green Haworth received a good judgment from Ofsted in May 2022.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher status or equivalent
  • Degree/PGCE or equivalent qualifications
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Other educational/professional qualifications
  • Full and active member of a church in membership of Churches together in England
  • Essential Experience
  • Successful experience of teaching in KS2 
  • Evidence of providing excellent provision for all pupils achieving high standards of pupil progress
  • An excellent understanding of and experience in using assessment and data management
  • Experience in leading one or more curriculum areas, including identifying needs, planning, monitoring and evaluations of standards
  • Proven ability in measuring progress
  • Desirable Experience
  • Successful experience teaching a mixed age class
  • Experience in leading an aspect of non-curricular development
