Information
We are looking for an outstanding specialist humanities teacher who can join our supportive, forward thinking and successful department. Members of our Humanities Department pride themselves on being research-led and highly innovative. We have high aspirations for all our learners and aim to support our pupils in becoming independent, self-regulating learners who are curious about the past and its impact on our lives today.

The Humanities Department is well-established, highly ambitious and passionate about our subject. The history curriculum is rich, diverse and challenging, with appropriate pedagogy to ensure all our pupils make good progress. We make use of engaging teaching methods and EdTech to ensure that out pupils feel that they are in the hands of expert historians.

We seek a teacher who shares our forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning and strives to achieve excellent results, maximising pupil progress at both Key Stage 3 and 4. While a specialism in history would be an advantage, this post may also require some teaching of Key Stage 3 RE and geography.
