The governors, staff, parents and pupils of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School seek to appoint a passionate and dynamic Deputy Headteacher to join our school family.

We are a close-knit community - a family. The parish, the school and the church work closely together to raise our children and offer them every possible opportunity to achieve their potential; to go out into the world and achieve all that God wants them to be.

We love to learn outside the classroom and are very fortunate with our location; close to the centre of Chorley and all that our wonderful hometown has to offer, surrounded by the beautiful open space that we have to learn in. 

We are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to join our excellent and well-established team. We seek an inspirational and creative deputy, who is willing to go the extra mile as we work together to achieve our mission statement: 'Following in the footsteps of Jesus, we live, love and learn.'

We are looking to appoint someone who:

Is committed to the Catholic life of our school and is a role model in supporting a clear vision for Catholic education.

Has a proven track record of excellence in teaching and learning with a clear vision on how to drive this forward at St Joseph’s

Is able to lead, inspire and motivate both staff and pupils.

Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.

Can build warm, positive and inclusive relationships with all staff, pupils and parents.

Is committed to making a difference to the lives and achievements of our families.
