The Governors of Christ the King RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate KS2 teacher who is keen to make a difference to the lives of our children.

We are looking for a KS2 teacher who:
  • Will inspire our pupils, communicating the ethos of our Roman Catholic school, centred on our school ethos, "Christ at the heart of all we do"
  • Be able to demonstrate that they are an excellent classroom practitioner
  • Is an enthusiastic, inspirational classroom practitioner with a strong desire to raise standards and ignite a love of learning
  • Has a passion for teaching and believes in sharing best practices to inspire and motivate others
  • Has the ability to form and maintain positive relationships that motivate children, parents, and colleagues

  • Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status and degree
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Willingness to undertake CCRS within 2 years of appointment
  • Essential Experience
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and In-service training
  • Experience in teaching across all age ranges
  • Understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Can demonstrate a creative approach to the curriculum and an interest in curriculum development
  • Can demonstrate a commitment to supporting the safeguarding of all pupils
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience in teaching children with individual needs (EAL, SEN, More Able)
