The governing body of Inskip St. Peter’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding, creative and inspirational part time teacher to teach in our mixed age Year 5 and Year 6 class.

This is a permanent variable hours contract, 5 hours minimum, however for the foreseeable future the job expectation will be for three full days (Wednesday to Friday).

The successful candidate will be:
  • able to demonstrate excellent teaching which incorporates challenging and exciting learning opportunities and a commitment to high standards
  • passionate, enthusiastic and committed to making a positive difference to the lives of our pupils
  • committed to supporting our school's distinctive Christian ethos
  • able to demonstrate that they have had experience in teaching Year 6 to Key Stage 2 SATs
  • someone who can plan effectively to meet the challenges of working in a small school with mixed age classes, using strategies that ensure that provision is differentiated to meet the needs of all learners
  • able to demonstrate high standards of behaviour management using a firm but restorative approach
  • able to provide a happy, stimulating and well organised learning environment
  • a flexible, resilient team player who can show warmth, sensitivity and build inclusive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • forward thinking, creative and have a willingness to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
