St Mary’s are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced lower KS2 class teacher to start in September 2021 to join our established, excellent team. The post is a maternity cover and is for the full academic year and you will have responsibility for a Year 3 and Year 4 mixed class. The successful applicant will be able to:




  • demonstrate a commitment to sustained, high standards and expectations;

  • be an exceptional class teacher demonstrating innovative and outstanding practice with drive, energy, dedication and most importantly, passion about the development of children’s learning;

  • be a strong team player who is fully committed to excellence and who will make a significant contribution to our school.;

  • lead confidently taking responsibility for an area of the curriculum.

Essential Experience

  • Successful experience of teaching primary aged children

  • Proven record of continuous good/outstanding teaching and raising attainment

  • Experience of working with SEND children and of using IEP’s
