We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Nursery Teacher to work in a fixed term position with the possibility for the contract to be extended past July.

Applicants will have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour, providing them with exciting and stimulating activities, both in and out of the classroom, thus ensuring they make excellent progress.

We are looking for an inspiring teacher who will help develop, support and implement a curriculum that enables our children to have the best start in their educational journey.
We are looking to appoint a confident Foundation Stage Teacher with a sound understanding of child development.

We are looking for somebody who:
  • Is passionate about developing the whole child through, creative learning opportunities
  • Has a comprehensive understanding of the EYFS curriculum and can support the school with the implementation of the new Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
  • Will be a key part of our team and help support the development of the Early Years Curriculum across our School.
  • Uses the latest research to inform best practice in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Supports children to develop lifelong skills and prepare them for the modern world.

  • Degree / Qualified Teacher Status
  • Recent & relevant participation in professional development
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Teaching qualification with an early years specialism
  • Essential Experience
  • Successful experience or teaching practice within the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • High quality teaching skills
  • Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and ability to deliver broad, balanced and exciting learning opportunities
  • Understanding of assessment, recording, reporting and monitoring practices
  • Experience of using a range of strategies for teaching in the EYFS
  • Evidence of sustained positive impact on raising pupil standards in the EYFS
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of effectively leading and managing a class team
  • Experience of working in a nursery setting
