Leck St Peters Church of England Primary School is a very happy and welcoming Christian school, having a strong partnership with the Church, Governors, Parents and the village community.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, skilled and talented teacher who will be able to inspire the children and make a positive contribution to the continued development of our school and our pursuit of excellence.
The post has arisen because our school continues to grow in popularity and the Governors have released some budget to fund separate teaching for Lower and Upper Juniors for the next two academic years. This will comprise five mornings per week.
The successful candidate will:
Teach our Lower Junior children every morning of every day.
Focus on Mathematics and English teaching, in particular.

Teaching scrutiny shows a sustained quality at levels equivalent to good or outstanding.
Effective teaching and learning with children in KS2 at all ability levels.
- Desirable Experience

A proven track record of teaching for at least a year.
Mixed age teaching experience.
Enthusiasm for and interest in using the outdoors to enhance the curriculum.
Involvement in developing a creative approach to the curriculum.
