An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, talented and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 teacher. This post is advertised as a temporary full time one year contract with a possibility of it becoming permanent after 12 months.

St Stephen's is an inclusive Church of England Primary School which has our Christian values at the heart of all we do. We have an exciting bespoke and creative curriculum which meets the needs of our children whilst meeting the requirements of the national curriculum. We currently have 211 children on roll and the school has 7 classes. Our school has recently had an extension built which provides a sanctuary for children who need some nurture provision from our pastoral team. The children have called this 'The Ark'.

We are very proud of our close links with St Stephen's Church and the local community. Our school enjoys far reaching views over Towneley Park and we are proud of our extensive school grounds which hosts a MUGA, forest school, outdoor classroom, adventure playground, prayer garden and a poly tunnel/allotment.

The successful applicant will need to be an outstanding, creative and hard working teacher who can work alongside our dedicated and highly motivated team. Our children are just delightful and a pleasure to teach.

    Shortlisted candidates will be requested to teach a lesson week commencing 17th May 2021.
    Interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be on Wednesday 26th May 2021.
