The Governors invite applications for the post of Head of RE who will be responsible for the continuous improvement of an already successful department.

A degree or equivalent in theology or Religious Studies
Catholic Certificate of Religious Studies or equivalent

Understanding the role of RE in a Catholic School
Outstanding classroom teacher
Confidence in leading curriculum development in RE and HRSE
Evidence of excellent student progress
Able to motivate and inspire students
Able to show evidence of leading aspects of the spiritual life of the school community
Good communication and listening skills
Commitment to continued professional development
Able to lead and inspire a team of professionals
