Summary
We are looking to appoint two permanent, part-time HLTAs to join our team. The person appointed will cover classes in the afternoon on a regular timetabled basis, and will offer cover for absent colleagues in the mornings. The person appointed will have recent, relevant primary experience in one or more of the primary key stages. They need to be able to provide cover for all lessons, and plan for the afternoon sessions, in addition to marking, assessing and reporting to parents in the subjects that they cover.

The ability to form effective, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues is essential, along with good behaviour management and high expectations. The appointed candidate will work across the full primary age range (nursery to Y6). We need a flexible, hard working and humorous person to come to join our happy, capable and highly effective team. The appointed person will be expected to be fully committed to the values and the vision of the school. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

GCSE (or equivalent) English grade C+

GCSE (or equivalent) mathematics grade C+.

HLTA Status

Essential Experience

TA3, HLTA or teaching experience within the primary range.

Experience of working in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classes.

Desirable Experience

Experience of working in more than one primary school.
