    The Attendance and Inclusion Support Worker will work as part of the attendance team and with pastoral colleagues to optimise student attendance and to nurture our students' sense of belonging.
    Responsibilities include promoting excellent student attendance, supporting students and families to improve attendance through building positive relationships, liaising with teaching and pastoral staff, making home visits, accessing wider support for families through Early Help Assessments and working alongside Heads of Year and external agencies with a view to collaboratively improving school attendance. The role will involve the effective use of students' attendance data and ensuring that school policies on attendance and safeguarding are closely followed at all times.     We would love to speak to you if you have excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative whilst being part of a larger team. Previous experience of working in a similar role providing high quality child/family support or of working flexibly in a fast-paced environment would be welcomed. The person specification details the qualifications, experience and skills that we are looking for.

    An essential part of the role will be understanding the school safeguarding protocols and adhering to the statutory requirements for regulated activity with children, always ensuring student safety and well-being.
