Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a new role? Kingsbury Primary School is currently inviting applications for a SEN Level 3 Teaching Assistant position. We pride ourselves on our inclusive Creative Curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our children.

We follow Curriculum pathways that are topic based and sensory lifestyle plans are integrated into all parts of our day to encourage emotional regulation.

Responsibilities:

Support the teaching in developing and implementing a play-based curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of children, including those with GLD and complex autism.

Support the Teacher in leading and directing Level 2 Teaching Assistants to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Foster a holistic approach to education, addressing both cognitive and social-emotional development.

Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning experience for each child.

Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) experience.
  • Experience in working with children with a range of needs, including SLD and complex autism.
  • A passion for creative learning and a commitment to a holistic approach to education.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
