Information

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join us as part of our EYFS/KS1 team in January 2026. The successful candidate will cover PPA in nursery, reception and year 1 for two days per week. The current working pattern for this role is Thursday and Friday, however this can be negotiated. In addition to being a creative and excellent classroom practitioner, the ideal candidate will be a determined and ambitious individual and have experience in EYFS and KS1.

Degree 

Desirable Qualifications

Paediatric first aid

Essential Experience

Planning and prepare work for pupil’s, appropriate to their needs and abilities

Implementing effective assessment for learning strategies, providing formative feedback to help pupils in their learning

Managing pupils’ behaviour effectively and in line with the whole school behaviour management system

Experience in EYFS and KS1

Teaching phonics

Desirable Experience

Working in a school in similar circumstances

Experience teaching EAL

Experience of using Makaton
