The Governor Board wishes to appoint dynamic, enthusiastic, forward-thinking Assistant Headteachers, whose inspiration, passion and leadership will continue to oversee the operational, educational, and strategic direction of the school through the ever-changing priorities of the SEND educational landscape, locally and nationally.

We want Assistant Headteachers who will:

• Make a difference to the learning, wellbeing and life prospects of all children at our school.
• Empower our students with knowledge, confidence, self-belief, life skills and strategies appropriate to their learning differences as well as promoting positive mental health, so that they can go forward in the modern world respecting themselves, others and achieve their very best in today’s world.
• Demonstrate and model excellence in curriculum design, pupil engagement, and participation, meeting the needs of a diverse and complex student population. Ensure the school consistently meets all statutory requirements, including those related to safeguarding and health and safety.
• Hold high aspirations for every learner, regardless of their starting point, supporting them to reach their full potential and successfully transition to the next stage of education or life. Celebrate and build upon each student’s progress, achievements, and success.
