St Thomas’ CE Primary school is a happy church school family and community located a short walk from the beach at St Annes on Sea. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and talented class teacher who can bring a creative approach and who plans carefully, to ensure the very best progress and outcomes for all our children.
This temporary, Maternity Cover - Main Pay Scale - post will enable the successful applicant to make a contribution to teaching and learning and curriculum work in our school.
The school's most recent Ofsted inspection in March 2025 was highly successful and we are delighted that our report acknowledges clearly that our school has significantly improved since our previous inspection (2017 – GOOD). The inspection outcome showed that we are now likely to be judged higher than our previous rating when re-inspected. Our very recent SIAMS inspection in June 2025 was also highly successful and highlighted many strengths. We were delighted that the inspector noted, ‘Positive relationships are at the heart of this ‘nurturing family'.The exceptionally strong culture of trust, care and respect is enabling staff, pupils and families to flourish.’
The successful candidate would be joining a hardworking, unique, caring school family.
