We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated class teacher to join our hardworking, caring team at this successful primary school. We are looking for a Year 6 teacher who:

has experience of teaching Year 5 and/or Year 6 with good knowledge of expectations of end of Key Stage 2 Statutory Assessments

is creative and motivated and is committed to high standards for all children

is able to demonstrate that they are a highly effective classroom practitioner

has excellent behaviour management skills

has good interpersonal skills and is able to work as part of a team.

has a good understanding of Safeguarding procedures in schools

Essential Experience

Year 5 and/or Year 6 Teaching experience.

Carrying out mid year and end of year assessments for Year 5 or Year 6 tests.

Having experience of leading a core subject.

Desirable Experience

Has extensive experience of teaching within Year 6.
