The children, staff and Governors of Brookside Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our committed, supportive and hard working team. The school had a successful Ofsted Inspection (February 21) and would like to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to support in driving the school forward
We need a teacher who:-
- Has experience of working across KS2,
- Has proven good / outstanding teaching skills
- Is highly motivated and able to model, inspire and identify excellence in their teaching and learning.
- Has high expectations of pupil achievements and behaviour
- Knows how to motivate children to achieve their potential and has positive and effective behaviour management
- Enjoys working with children and has a caring and inclusive approach.
- Is hard working, enthusiastic and shows a commitment to supporting extra-curricular opportunities for our pupils and whole school activities.
- Is a team player with good communication and inter-personal skills
- Is able to develop strong relationships with parents, staff and pupils
- Effective subject leadership

Qualified teacher status

Experience of effective teaching and proven track record within the primary phase
Relevant experience of teaching a broad and balanced curriculum with well designed learning opportunities.
Experience and understanding of safeguarding in schools
Successful at adapting teaching to meet the needs of all pupils.
An ability to lead curriculum areas
- Desirable Experience

- Successful teaching and proven track record in teaching across Key Stage 2.
- Recent experience of teaching in a mixed age class
- Successful adaptive teaching to meet the needs of all children
