An opportunity has arisen for a creative, ambitious, and inspirational teacher to undertake the responsibility of Assistant Curriculum Leader of Design Technology preferably a Teacher of Food Technology.
This post is particularly suited to a person who aspires to be a Curriculum Leader of Design Technology as well as Hospitality & Catering. You will be an integral part of leading in further developments in Design Technology by supporting the Curriculum Leader, in curriculum development and line management of staff.

- Good working knowledge of effective use of assessment and progress data.
- Sound awareness of current educational thinking and curriculum development relating to the subject.

- Evidence of delivering value added results at KS3 and KS4

- Experience of intervention programmes that help key groups of students to accelerate their progress
- Successful experience of working with students across the ability range and at different key stages.
- Successful work with students as a tutor, mentor and/or coach
