The Governors of Woodnook Primary School are seeking to appointment a highly motivated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our school. Woodnook is a wonderful place to work with friendly, hardworking children and a supportive staff team. The successful candidate will :

  • be enthusiastic and passionate about children, their education and welfare; putting them first in everything they do.
  • preferably have some experience of teaching in Reception and has a secure understanding of teaching and learning in the Early Years including the EYFS Statutory Framework.
  • understand the important role provision plays (both inside and outside) in allowing the children to be active learners, who can collaborate, solve problems and develop independence.
  • be a reflective learne
  • be an excellent and creative classroom practitioner who has high expectations of all children.
  • be able to foster excellent working relationships with pupils, parents and the community.
