Governors at Poulton St Chad’s C of E Primary are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who has the passion and enthusiasm to help children of all abilities reach their full potential and support SLT in continuing to raise standards across school. The postholder will be expected to teach in Key Stage 1 and to be a Subject Leader.
We are looking for a someone who will:- Be supportive of the Christian ethos of this school and help the Headteacher in developing the Christian ethos and culture of St Chad’s
- Have proven skills in inspiring children and staff and raising attainment in all subjects.
- Establish fair, respectful, highly inclusive and supportive relationships with children and staff so that all can thrive
- Have high expectations for themselves, for their class, their key stage and be ambitious for the subject that they lead.
- Effectively communicate and work in partnership with families, carers, colleagues and other professionals.
- Support and challenge staff when needed with fairness, compassion and confidence
- Continue to develop supportive links and partnerships with other schools, agencies and the community
- Be a member of the senior leadership team and work with the Headteacher
- Have a good sense of humour!
