Lathom Park is a small, rural Church of England Primary School where our children are valued as individuals and provided with suitable challenges to enable them all to achieve.  We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Class Teacher, commencing 1 September 2025.

This role involves teaching a mixed-age class comprising Nursery children aged 2 years and above, as well as Reception-aged children.

  • Has experience of SEND within the classroom, working with outside agencies and children with EHCP.

  • Relevant successful experience of teaching in a primary school setting, demonstrating a proven track record of effective teaching and positive impact in a primary school setting
  • Experience of SEND and writing provision maps, ILP's, EHCPs etc

  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • SEND qualifications

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of working effectively with and managing a team of classroom staff
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of the National Curriculum, EY Framework and Assessment for Learning Strategies and their implementation
  • Ability to identify and meet the needs of all learners using effective strategies to meet the needs of all pupils including those with SEN and the most able pupils.

  • Evidence of impact in developing a curriculum area or whole school change
  • Knowledge of applying information technology to teaching and learning
