Information
Are you a teacher who is keen to make a difference?  Do you have resilience, a calm caring nature and an understanding of challenging Behaviour?  Can you build trusting professional relationships with young people? Do you plan engaging and exciting lessons?

If so, read on.   Moorbrook is a SEMH specialist school for secondary age pupils, many of whom are Neuro diverse with a wide range of educational levels. We are expanding further and seeking staff for an additional class.   We are seeking a teacher who is able to teach in mainly Y8, the class is working at Y3/4 level currently.  Many of our pupils have delayed or missed learning and the post would ideally suit a primary teacher keen to expand their experience range. Experience, understanding and empathy with SEND pupils is essential.

We currently have 2 primary trained staff who teach in Y7. Our team holds a wide range of experience and qualifications and is a supportive team. Our recent Ofsted state staff are proud to work at this school. The school is considerate of their workload and well-being. Staff understand the social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs of pupils. They are trained to use effective strategies that promote positive behaviour. You would be part of our strong diverse team and need to be as passionate as they are about securing the best education for our young people.

For more information about school, please see the welcome letter and our website.
