The Governors of Deepdale Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated permanent class teacher to work in KS2 from 1st September 2025.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled teacher with the drive and aspiration to be consistently outstanding. He/she will be able to work as part of a vibrant and forward-thinking team and will be committed to the concept of high expectations and achievement for all.

We are looking for applicant who:

has recognised qualified teacher status

is an outstanding and inspirational classroom practitioner who can consistently deliver high quality teaching and learning in an engaging way

has experience of working with children within KS2

has high expectations of pupils achievements and behaviour

is able to show experience of working with children for whom English is an additional language.

has a knowledge and experience of working with children who have special educational needs

has an enthusiasm for working in partnership with the SLT, governors, parents and the wider community

has a commitment to developing their own professional skills

Deepdale Community Primary School is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety of children and undertakes a rigorous vetting procedure. Successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the CRB and a range of other recruitment checks.
