The Governors of Deepdale Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated permanent class teacher to work in KS2 from 1st September 2025.
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled teacher with the drive and aspiration to be consistently outstanding. He/she will be able to work as part of a vibrant and forward-thinking team and will be committed to the concept of high expectations and achievement for all.

We are looking for applicant who:
- has recognised qualified teacher status
- is an outstanding and inspirational classroom practitioner who can consistently deliver high quality teaching and learning in an engaging way
- has experience of working with children within KS2
- has high expectations of pupils achievements and behaviour
- is able to show experience of working with children for whom English is an additional language.
- has a knowledge and experience of working with children who have special educational needs
- has an enthusiasm for working in partnership with the SLT, governors, parents and the wider community
- has a commitment to developing their own professional skills
Deepdale Community Primary School is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety of children and undertakes a rigorous vetting procedure. Successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the CRB and a range of other recruitment checks.
