The children, staff and governors of St John’s Catholic Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to work in their mixed age Year 5 and Year 6 class from 1st September 2025 on a part time basis.

In our Catholic school, it is desirable for staff to have a strong personal faith, but essential for them to fully immerse themselves in the Catholic teaching of the school. We are committed to ensuring that every child achieves their full potential by giving them opportunities to develop and excel in whatever it is that inspires them to learn and grow. The successful candidate will have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils. They will work within our Key Stage 2 team and benefit from rich professional development and support, relevant to the role. They will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum with the development of skills, knowledge and prior learning central to their teaching. Experience of leading KS2 SATs preparation, would be a desirable attribute.
