The Governors of Christ the King RC Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced,  dedicated and passionate KS2 teacher who is keen to make a difference to the lives of our children.

We are looking for a KS2 teacher who:


  • will inspire our pupils, communicating the ethos of our Roman Catholic school, centred on our school ethos, “Christ at the heart of all we do”
  • be able to demonstrate that they are an excellent classroom practitioner
  • is an enthusiastic, inspirational classroom practitioner, with a strong desire to raise standards and ignite a love of learning 
  • has a passion for teaching and believes in sharing best practice to inspire and motivate others
  • has the ability to form and maintain positive relationships that motivate children, parents and colleagues

  • Essential Qualifications
    Qualified Teacher Status and degree
    Desirable Qualifications
    Willingness to undertake CCRS within 2 years of appointment
    Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and In-
    service training
    Essential Experience
  • Excellent Practitioner
  • Understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Can demonstrate a commitment to supporting the safeguarding of all pupils
  • Effective strategies for behaviour management

  • Desirable Experience
  • Some experience in teaching children with individual needs (EAL, SEN, More Able)
  • Experience in teaching across all age ranges
  • Experience in leading a curriculum area
