The Governors of Pilling St John’s C of E Primary School & Nursery are looking to appoint a highly-motivated, enthusiastic class teacher, to join our team in the Summer Term of 2025. Our Christian faith underpins all that we do and permeates all aspects of school life. ‘Growing Roots, Standing Firm in Faith, Being Bold in all we do’ is our Christian ethos and at Pilling St John’s C of E Primary School & Nursery we are a community where all are welcome and encouraged to flourish as individuals. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Year Y1 & Y2 (mixed class Teacher) who will also take on Subject Leader responsibility.
The Governors are looking for a teacher who:- Is committed to promoting the strong Christian ethos of our school
- Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Has excellent teaching skills and the ability to inspire children
- Is creative and innovative along with having a sense of humour
- Has recent experience of teaching in KS1
- Can work as part of a dedicated team and be flexible
