The Governors of Slyne-with-Hest St Luke’s Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a highly-motivated, enthusiastic class teacher, to join our team in the Summer Term 2025.
This is a temporary position for one term in the first instance and is part of staff restructuring following the retirement of a long-standing member of staff at the end of the Easter Term 2025. It is possible that, once staffing for the academic year 2025 – 2026 is agreed, this position will be extended.
We are seeking to appoint a Year 4 classteacher (0.4) working on a Thursday and Friday with PPA paid outside these hours.
For the right candidate there would also be the possibility of teaching one afternoon a week (Wednesday) in Year 1 to cover PPA. However, the main post we are keen to fill is the two days in Year 4.
The school has 201 pupils on role organised into 7 single aged classes.

- has recent experience of teaching in KS2
