Following the retirement of our long-standing and highly effective Headteacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated person to lead our school family with drive and compassion.
We would like to appoint a Headteacher who will continue to unite and develop our diverse community and be ambitious for all our children.
We are looking for a strong and nurturing leader who:- Is a committed and practising Catholic, able to further develop the strong Catholic identity of St Patrick's;
- Is able to drive teaching, learning and curriculum development forward with ambition and high expectations for all learners;
- Is passionate about making a positive difference to our children's lives and the wider community;
- Has vision, motivation and dedication to take on the challenge of leading St Patrick's into a new and exciting phase;
- Has a clear, strategic direction and sense of purpose;
- Will challenge and empower staff and pupils to be the best they can be;
- Will recognise and respect the character, personality, dignity and value of every pupil;
- Recognises the value of working collaboratively with others to enhance practice and outcomes: parents and carers, the Parish and Diocese, the Local Authority; other schools and practitioners; stakeholders.
