Reed Education/ The Lancashire Teaching Agency are currently looking for a EYFS Teacher starting in February 2025. The successful candidate will join a fantastic school across The Ribble Valley, where they will have the opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and dynamic early years environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for EYFS pupils.
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Assess and monitor the development and progress of children, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
- Work closely with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive teaching team.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in EYFS.
- Proven experience as an EYFS Teacher, with a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest educational practices.
