Information
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Instructor of Life Skills and Salon Skills to join our team in an Unqualified Teacher capacity. In this role, you will teach students both essential life skills for personal and professional development, and salon skills for those pursuing careers in the beauty industry. The ideal candidate will have a blend of teaching experience, industry expertise, and a strong understanding of safeguarding practices to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Essential Experience
  • Proven experience as a life skills instructor, salon instructor, or similar role.
  • Experience working in a professional salon environment.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies, particularly for children and young people.

  • Desirable Experience
  • Teaching or instructional experience in a formal or informal setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of life skills concepts and salon techniques.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
