Key Stage 1, Year 2 Teacher

St Michael & All Angels VA Primary School is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified teacher to teach in Year 2. The successful candidate will be interested in becoming part of our whole school team and dedicated to providing the very best education in a happy, calm and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons, following the school's plans, curriculum and schemes of work
- Adapt teaching to reflect the age of the children and respond effectively to pupils' individual strengths and needs
- Be accountable for the progress of the pupils you teach
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Promote positive pupil behaviour and create a stimulating learning environment
- Collaborate and work positively with colleagues and other professionals
- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and carers
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Commitment to delivering excellent teaching and securing the best possible outcomes for pupils
- Passion and enthusiasm for children's learning
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
