The governors and Headteachers at Applebee Wood Special School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who wishes to continue to develop their skills as an ambitious teacher to act as the English Lead. We aim to secure the best possible outcomes for our children at Applebee Wood Special School.

  • Essential Qualifications

    QTS Status – BA (Hons), BEd (Hons) degree or PGCE<

    Desirable Qualifications

    SEN qualification

    Essential Experience

    Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

    Experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour.

    Outstanding classroom practitioner with evidence of setting appropriate expectations to advance learning by engaging and motivating pupils.

    Desirable Experience

    Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment (special school/short stay school).
