The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed experienced Class Teacher to join a dedicated, hardworking staff in the supportive environment of our welcoming and friendly school - Applebee Wood Specialist School.

  • Essential Qualifications
  • QTS Status – BA (Hons), BEd (Hons) degree or PGCE


  • Desirable Qualifications
  • SEN qualification

  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour.
  • Outstanding classroom practitioner with evidence of setting appropriate expectations to advance learning by engaging and motivating pupils.
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment (special school/short stay school).
