The Local Governing Board of The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School (part of Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust) wish to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to join the team from September 2024.  We are a large two form entry school in the Ribbleton area of Preston and the successful candidate will need to work alongside the teacher from the parallel class. We are looking for a teacher with good organisation, high expectations and lots of ideas for bringing our curriculum to life for our children. The successful candidate will demonstrate high expectations for children's learning and behaviour. We are looking for a candidate who will:

  • Uphold and support the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Be committed to safeguarding
  • Be a classroom practitioner with a proven record of identifying and narrowing gaps in learning for disadvantaged and SEN children
  • Have strong inter-personal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and pupils
  • Inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve their full potential
  • Have strong skills in the teaching of Reading and Phonics
