Newtown Nursery School is looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to join and lead our incredible, committed and hardworking team. You will work closely with the Governors, Headteacher, Teachers, Lead Team and other staff. You will lead, develop and further enhance teaching, learning and achievement whilst continually striving to ensure quality and consistency.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our unique 0-4 years school working with a motivated team within a very supportive, forward thinking environment which is dedicated to our children and community. The successful candidate must be an exceptional and inspirational teacher with a passion for Early Years and in depth knowledge and understanding of how children learn and develop. Leadership qualities are a must and leadership and management skills and experience would be a vast advantage.
The school is lucky to be able to offer extended provision for families before and after school and during school holidays. The Deputy Headteacher has a strategic role in the organisation and overview of this provision.
The position is required from 01/05/2024 or as soon as possible.
