The Governors and staff at St Anthony's Catholic Primary School are wishing to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher for Key Stage 2.  We currently have a Year 5/6 teacher – full time, permanent vacancy.  The post will require you to work in a team to implement a successful and dynamic learning environment and curriculum that motivates the pupils, ensures happy children for excellent pupil progress. The posts are for January 2024 or as soon as available. Applications are welcome from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.

  • Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree /PGCE or equivalent qualification

  • Desirable Qualifications
    Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies
    Essential Experience
  • Confidence teaching all subjects across the primary curriculum
  • Excellent understanding/experience of assessing children's progress

  • Experience of children with additional needs
  • Successful and recent experience of teaching in KS2
