Information
Due to the secondment of our Year 5 teacher, we are seeking a passionate and talented teacher to join our hardworking upper key stage 2 team from 1st January 2024.

Lancaster Christ Church is a successful school with extensive grounds overlooking the City of Lancaster with stunning views across Morecambe Bay. We have seven single age classes and can offer well behaved, happy children, an experienced staff team and supportive governing body and parents.

The successful teacher will be based in Year 5 and be a very good or outstanding class teacher. They will be equipped to support the school’s Christian ethos and distinctiveness. They will work closely with the Key Stage 2 Leader in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children.

Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified to degree level including Qualified Teacher Status
  • Primary trained
  • Evidence of regular, recent and appropriate professional development for the post

  • Relevant and significant teaching experience
  • Experience and understanding of successful behaviour management

  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience of effective subject leadership
