Pilling St John CE Primary School and Nursery is a small, successful school situated in the semi-rural village of Pilling. Our school has a warm and welcoming feel and we value the strong relationships that we have with our families and the local community. We are looking to appoint a teacher who is forward thinking and shares our belief that our children deserve the very best education and opportunities. The position will be for our mixed Year 1 and Year 2 KS1 class.  The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, conscientious and have a willingness to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status 

  • Evidence of commitment to CPD 


  • Essential Experience
  • Experience of teaching KS1

  • Experience of teaching phonics and early reading

  • Managing and planning for adults in the classroom
