The Headteacher and Governors of St Oswald's RC Primary & Nursery School are looking to appoint an inspiring, conscientious and enthusiastic teacher in our Nursery Class. The successful candidate will demonstrate high expectations for our children's learning and behaviour and will be committed to overcoming social disadvantage.
The Governors are looking for someone who is/can/will:- A proven outstanding and creative EYFS/Nursery teacher with a passion for teaching Early Years pupils
- Is able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Early Year's framework and how children learn
- Effectively lead a team of committed and experienced Teaching Assistants
- Inspire children to have a love of learning
- Committed to and able to support the school's distinctive Catholic ethos
- Have high expectations of academic standards; pupils' achievement and their behaviour
- Able to plan creatively and accurately assess pupils
- Able to address the needs of all pupils, including more able and SEN pupils, ensuring progress for all
- Have strong inter-personal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and children
